An innovative photography exhibit featuring the work of over a dozen renowned photographers is opening at Isabella Garrucho Gallery of Fine Art in Greenwich, Connecticut, on July 18th. Over 70 photographs are on display, with subject matter that extends across fashion, portraits, landscapes and abstract. The diversity of the exhibit also extends to the artists, with over a dozen on display, from photography icons of the 20th century to impressive up-and-coming photographers of today.
One of the exhibit’s additional highlights is its visually striking layout. The far wall of the gallery transports viewers into the the 20th century, featuring vintage black and white photography by the fashion industry’s most iconic photographers, including Horst P. Horst, Richard Avedon, Bert Stern, and Terry O’Neill. In contrast, the gallery’s near wall features a thoughtful collection of leading contemporary photographers, celebrating innovative techniques and vibrant color photography from Ron Greene, Andrea Bonfils, Dean West and Joe McNally.
Also on display are sculpture works by Sonia Richter, Won Lee, Joel Urruty, and Don Frost.
