It was during the bullish art market of the 1980’s when our president and founder, Isabella Garrucho, created Art Service International in order to meet the demands of of an investment-driven corporate art market. As an experienced and discreet art advisor, Art Service International quickly became recognized as one of the premier corporate and private art consulting firms in Connecticut and New York. Isabella’s reputation for expertise and integrity led to amassing major art collections for private collectors as well as Fortune 500 companies.
Isabella and her highly trained staff have worked with the world’s most distinguished international collectors, building a reputation as an authority on emerging artists, blue-chip artists, and art as investment. Art Service also diversified and organized numerous exchange programs with Asian countries, working closely with the Minister of Cultures and other senior government officials to facilitate cultural exploration through art.
Isabella Garrucho was born in Cadiz, Spain and majored in art history at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese. Her international travels have enhanced her knowledge of the protocol of various countries and her exceptional people skills make her an effective negotiator and consummate art consultant.
As an experienced and discreet art advisor, Isabella has worked diligently to help her established clients in every aspect of the maintenance of their collections. She offers impeccable advice on matters of research, connoisseurship, acquisitions, insurance, installations, and sale of artwork. These accumulated advisory skills are critical to an ever-changing art market and varying economic conditions. Isabella’s vast knowledge and long-term career ensures that the needs of her private and corporate collectors are always first and foremost.
After 25 plus years of assembling major art collections in the private and corporate sectors, Isabella and her son Alex Trimper made the decision in the winter of 2015 to open their first gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut to best serve their clientele. Isabella Garrucho Fine Art has become among Greenwich’s leading galleries.
Alex Trimper was born in Mexico and spent part of his childhood in Brazil before moving to Connecticut with his family. He spent his junior and senior years of high school at TASIS England, surrounded by students and faculty from around the world. He moved back to America once he began college but has continued to travel extensively around the world.
Alex has experience in a variety of fields including investment banking, fashion, beauty, health and fitness, telecommunications, and technology. From his extensive experience in sales, he uses a multi-dimensional approach when connecting with clients to find their perfect piece. For the past 10 years, Alex has managed day-to-day operations of the gallery in conjunction with Isabella, making the perfect team. Alex oversees and manages the gallery’s online presence, allowing for Isabella Garrucho Fine Art to span worldwide.
Isabella Garrucho Fine Art directly represents over 50 national and international artists and maintains close ties with scores of additional artists as well as galleries and publishers.
We offer a wide range of art styles- contemporary, traditional, Oriental – in any price range and give clients choices from decorative to museum-quality investment art.
Isabella Garrucho Fine Art also works with painters, sculptors and weavers to execute specific commissioned art works for lobbies, boardrooms, atriums, and sculpture gardens.

I. The company works on a free consultation basis. The client pays only the retail price of the framed artwork. There are no further charges.
II. There is a flat consulting fee, based on the size and the duration of the project. The art consultant’s discount is passed on to the client.
