Suprematism

A movement founded in Russia around 1913 by Kazimir Malevich. The goal of suprematism, in Malevich’s own words, is based on the, “…supremacy of pure artistic feeling,” rather than a visual depiction of objects. Suprematism is opposed to post revolutionary movements such as constructivism and materialism. It rejects visual objectivity and is founded opposite to humanist philosophy and believes in absolute non-objectivity as the future of society.
